Traditional Japanese soy sauce from Rotterdam? We are fans! Get acquainted with the only micro-brew soy sauce in Europe, fermented and ripened in Scottish whiskey barrels for a unique, rich, subtle flavour. Tomasu grows its own soy beans in the Netherlands, in Hoekse Waard. The beans are combined with mineral water and naturally grey, coarse sea salt from Brittany. Fermentation is activated by the addition of Tomasu's own mushroom, Aspergillus Oryzae Tomasu. The soy sauce then ripens for at least 24 months.
