Traditional Japanese soy sauce from Rotterdam? We are sold! Get acquainted with the only micro-brew soy sauce in Europe, fermented and aged in Scottish whiskey barrels for a uniquely rich, subtle flavour. Tomasu grows its own soy beans in the Hoekse Waard area of the Netherlands. The beans are combined with mineral water and naturally grey, coarse sea salt from Brittany. Fermentation is activated by the addition of Tomasu's own mold, Aspergillus Oryzae Tomasu. The soy sauce then ages for at least 2 years.
