Birds on a visit

The colder it gets, the harder it is for birds: there is little food to eat, and on shorter winter days there is little time to look for food. We like to help the birds in our gardens through the winter with fat balls, peanuts and birdseed. Blue and great tits, starlings and even woodpeckers can indulge in specially-made bird peanut butter. And did you know that a nest box makes an ideal warm shelter for small birds during the winter?
