Coriander powder from the finely ground seeds of an umbellifier; the fresh leaves are also widely used. The round seeds taste more herby and sweeter than the leaves. Coriander is used in Asian and North African dishes, among other things. It is also delicious in bread, pastries and chutney. Tip: toast the seeds in a dry frying pan before use to release extra aroma and flavour. Afterwards, you can use them whole or grind them in your mortar.
