Turmeric/kurkuma, organic, 40 g

Turmeric is a member of the ginger family. The ground rhizome imparts the well-known orange-yellow colour and a slightly bitter, fairly sharp flavour to curry powder and various Asian and North African dishes. Delicious: add half a teaspoon of turmeric while cooking rice to add beautiful colour and exotic flavour. Turmeric is also used to make 'golden milk': a warming, spiced drink made from (plant-based) milk, turmeric, cinnamon, ginger and cardamom.
