Sage has an intense spicy aroma and an earthy, slightly bitter taste. It is very delicious in various Italian and Provençal dishes, with lamb and pork, with fatty fish, and with beans and lentils. Sage has a fairly strong flavor, so use it sparingly as it can easily overpower other ingredients.

Tip: You can also make herbal tea from sage, optionally with some lemon and honey. Sage tea helps to soothe your throat.
