Traditional Italian pistachio pesto with a refreshing hint of lemon. Creamy, slightly sweet and perfect for enriching and adding character to a variety of dishes.
This pesto is handmade in Liguria, the narrow coastal region around Genoa. Delicious in combination with fresh cherry tomatoes or sun-dried tomatoes, with white meat or fish, stirred into pasta or risotto, in savoury pies or simply on a sandwich or bruschetta. Also tasty as a seasoning for boiled potatoes or grilled vegetables.
Vegan, lactose and gluten-free. Cover with oil after opening and refrigerate; limited shelf life after opening.
