The vegan version of a traditional basil sauce, made in the Italian province of Liguria, the narrow coastal strip around Genoa. This pesto owes its authentic flavour to genuine Genovese basil and extra virgin olive oil. This pesto is unpasteurised which helps it retain its fresh green colour as well as that 'just made' taste. Pesto is delicious in all kinds of dishes. For example, with a simple pasta, but also as a fragrant accent in (vegetable) soup or on toast or a sandwich.
