Matcha whisk, bamboo, Ø6 cm

This authentic matcha whisk is indispensable for making traditional matcha. Hand made from sturdy bamboo it has approximately 100 filaments making it ideal for whisking matcha into an airy foam. Instructions: soak the whisk in hot water for a few minutes before use. Then add a teaspoon of matcha powder to an ample bowl and pour on approx. 80 ml hot water (not boiling). Initially whisk in a slow W pattern, then transition to fast zig-zag motions until a good head of foam develops. After use: carefully rinse the whisk clean with cold water, removing any powder that may have been left behind by rubbing gently. Dry upright, then store in a dry place, preferably in the box supplied.
