This high-quality, organic matcha, ceremonial grade, comes from Japan and is made from the first young tea leaves of the season (first flush). The powder has a vibrant green color, a smooth, creamy taste, and an aroma reminiscent of freshly cut grass. ‘Shizuka’ means quiet, serene, or calm – a reference to the Japanese tea ceremony, where tranquility, mindfulness, and harmony are central. A moment for yourself, far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Preparation: Scoop 1 teaspoon of matcha powder into a spacious bowl. Add 80 ml of water at approximately 80°C. Whisk with a bamboo matcha whisk in a ‘W’ shape until a smooth, light foam forms. Also delicious as a matcha latte. Tip: use our traditional bamboo whisk for the best flavor experience.
