Matcha Shizuka, organic, 30 g

This high-quality, organic, ceremonial grade matcha is from Japan and is made from the first young tea leaves of the season (first flush). The powder has a vibrant green colour, a smooth, creamy taste and an aroma reminiscent of freshly cut grass. ‘Shizuka’ means quiet, serene or calm – a reference to the Japanese tea ceremony, in which tranquillity, mindfulness and harmony are central. A moment for yourself, far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Method: Scoop 1 tsp of matcha powder into an ample bowl. Add 80 ml of water at approximately 80°C. Whisk with a bamboo matcha whisk in a ‘W’ shape until a smooth, light foam develops. Also delicious as a matcha latte. Tip: use our traditional bamboo whisk for the best flavour experience.
