Juniper berries, organic, 35 g

The dried berries of the juniper bush have a sweet-spicy and slightly bitter taste. They are used, among other things, in marinades for beef and game, in pâtés and terrines, sauerkraut and red cabbage, in pickling recipes, and for making gin.

Tip: Allow the juniper berries to infuse in the dish. The flavor is best expressed if you lightly crush the berries before use with the flat side of your (Santoku) knife or in a mortar and pestle.
