Naturally, we all know rosemary as a cooking ingredient, yet the oil is also fabulous for use at home and for pampering your hair and scalp. The herby smell of this oil transports you to the Mediterranean. The organic, pure essential oil can, for instance, be used in a fragrance burner for an energising, invigorating smell in your home. Fill the burner with water, then add a few drops of oil and allow to evaporate. This oil can also be used in home-made skin and hair care products as well as in massage oil.
Never apply the oil to the skin undiluted. Always mix with a base oil such as almond, jojoba or olive. Undiluted, the oil may cause skin irritation.
