Calming, cleansing fragrance oil with a wonderful smell: lavender isn’t the most popular essential oil for nothing. This oil has a relaxing effect, improving sleep thanks to its herby, flowery smell. The pure, organic essential oil can, for instance, be used in a fragrance burner to spread a wonderful smell around your home. Fill the burner with water, add a few drops of fragrance oil and allow to evaporate in your bed/room. This oil can also be used in home-made cleaning and skin care products as well as massage oil.
Tip: add some drops of lavender oil to a warm bath; you’ll get a great night’s sleep afterwards.
Never apply the oil to the skin undiluted. Always mix with a base oil such as almond, jojoba or olive. Undiluted, the oil may cause skin irritation.
