Dyed savanna grass Bolga basket/shopping bag, Ø 36 cm

Hand-woven, traditional basket from Bolgatanga (Ghana) made from savanna grass with a curved handle. Bolga baskets are woven by women who can earn their own income this way. The shopping basket is also very suitable for storing, for instance, toys, magazines or other loose items.

Because it is a handmade, artisanal product the dimensions may differ slightly from basket to basket.

Tip: If your basket has deformed, you can get it back to its original shape by wetting it, re-shaping it and then allowing it to dry.
