Couscous with vegetables, 250 g
Couscous is one of the most common ingredients in North African and Middle Eastern cuisine. Delicious combined with a tasty stew made in a tajine, in a summery salad or as an alternative to potatoes or rice. This couscous with dried vegetables and herbs (including: courgette, carrot, bell pepper, green beans, chives and parsley is easy and fast to prepare. Tastes great as a vegetarian dish with additional grilled vegetables and, for instance, feta cheese or with a piece of grilled fish or meat. Couscous equals endless combinations.
Tip: add half a stock cube to the couscous soaking water to enhance its flavour.
Preparation: put the contents in a bowl. Add an equal quantity of hot, but not boiling water. Cover and allow to rest for a few minutes until the desired consistency has been achieved. Then add salt * and some extra virgin olive oil* and mix with a fork to separate the granules. *Available from Dille & Kamille.
