Cloves (whole), organic, 30 g

Cloves has an intense, unique aroma and flavour. It is used – sparingly – in various marinades for meat and game, in Asian cuisine as part of many spice blends, in sauerkraut, red cabbage as well as in various stews. Ground cloves is also one of the spices used for speculaas and gingerbread. Tip: stick some cloves into a slice of orange, then simmer together with a cinnamon stick in red wine on a low heat. Delicious.
