Citric acid is the perfect degreaser and descaler for all kinds of household chores. Ideal, for example, for a dirty oven door or descaling the bathroom and all kinds of appliances, but you also use it to remove rust. Dissolve 1-2 teaspoons of citric acid powder in 1 litre of lukewarm water in a spray bottle or bucket. Rinse the cleaned surfaces with clean water.
Citric acid is safely biodegradable and mild for the environment. And you no longer need a whole array of different (chemical) cleaners. Great, right?

Note: Citric acid causes skin irritation. Always use household gloves and avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact with eyes: rinse carefully with clean water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, continue rinsing.
