Traditional, Italian cookies with tons of tasty almonds. These hard, not too sweet cookies are double baked or ‘biscotti’. Cantuccini are very good with a cup or tea or coffee, or serve them – as they do in Tuscany – with a glass of sweet, dessert wine such as Vinsanto. Dip the cookie in the wine – delicious! Our cantuccini are made by a Tuscan family firm, the Desideri, who have been making these authentic specialities since 1911. This is still largely done by hand and it is precisely this artisanship as well as the local, top-quality ingredients that make the Desideri family’s cookies so good.
