This beautiful, durable toy is made of rubberwood. Our Thai supplier Plantoys uses 'retired' rubber trees for this: trees that no longer supply latex and so now get a nice second use. Everything is used, including the sawdust: from this, so-called 'PlanWood' is made with non-toxic glue and safe water-based paint.
