A true Italian delicacy: Cialda di Montecatini are thin, crispy waffles from the heart of Tuscany with a subtle filling made of almond, sugar and a hint of vanilla. Two wafer thin, golden brown waffles on either side of a delicate almond cream – simple in composition, yet prepared with care and craftsmanship. The Cialda are hand made according to a traditional family recipe that has been handed down from generation to generation in the Famiglia Desideri. The production process is exceptionally meticulous and takes some 20 days. This optimises flavour and texture with every waffle being the result of artisanship and attention to detail.
