Fun and not at all difficult: growing your own pumpkin! The 'Red of Etampes' is a tasty but also very beautiful, orange-red, ribbed variety. Provide the sunniest spot possible with nutrient-rich soil and plenty of water. A compost pile is ideal because it is also nice and warm. Give the plant plenty of room and let it grow undisturbed.
