Bolga basket/shopping basket, savannah grass

Hand-woven, traditional basket from Bolgatanga (Ghana), made from savannah grass with leather handle. Bolga baskets are woven by women who earn their own income by making these baskets. The shopping basket is also very suitable for storing toys. Height (excluding handle) approx. 30 cm, Ø approx. 23 cm, handle height: 18 cm. As this is a handcrafted artisan product, dimensions may vary slightly from basket to basket.
