'Crema di carciofi': a deliciously creamy cream based on artichoke hearts and extra virgin olive oil, made in the northern Italian province of Liguria. The artichoke cream is very tasty as a dip for raw or roasted vegetables. But be sure to try it on a baguette or through pasta. Or use it as a base sauce on your pizza.
Tip: On bruschette, combined with some Parma ham.
