Flowerpot with rim, terracotta, ⌀ 13.5cm

Tapered classic flower pot with a drainage hole at the bottom. Suitable for both outdoor and indoor use. Inside, to prevent leaks, do put a glazed dish underneath that does not let water through. Outside, place the flower pot on the accompanying red brick platter.

Terracotta is an ideal material for flower pots: it is porous, which allows the potting ball to "breathe" and the plant's roots to not stay wet for too long.

Tip: Before filling the flower pot, put it in a bucket of water. The porous earthenware sucks full and will not draw moisture from the potting soil. Then place some potsherds on the hole and fill the flowerpot with soil.
