Black peppercorns, organic, 55 g

Black pepper, the unripe, dried berries of the pepper plant, has a milder, spicier, and more aromatic flavor and scent than white pepper. Black pepper is an indispensable seasoning in almost all dishes; it adds zest but is not hot. Use it in marinades, stews, soups, and sauces, as well as in Asian and North African spice blends. Freshly ground black pepper is more intense in flavor than pre-ground powder.

Tip: If you coarsely grind or crush the peppercorns, the pepper will be less sharp but extra aromatic.
